I love this. It reminds me of Ross Gay’s “Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude.” As he says, “Joy is what emerges from our tending to one another through the difficulty, making it possible to survive the difficulty.” Writing is another form of this tending, I think.
Absolutely love these moments of note! I have nothing noteworthy right now but just to say the love and joy and meaning in simple and everyday exchanges - that often go unnoticed - are so magical; more so in the poetic way you wrote them. Bravo and I’m glad they give you a moments rest from the long standing oppression of circumstance x
